SANITARY LANDFILL, MINING AND LEACHATE PONDS

Geomembrane liners are extensively used in sanitary landfills, mining operations, canals, power plants, dams, heap leach pads and leachate collection ponds. For a complete containment protection, sanitary landfills are lined, capped or covered with Geopoly HDPE geomembrane lining systems of both smooth and textured surfaces and also LLDPE geomembrane liners. Hazardous leachate from landfill cells are channeled into lined leachate collection ponds for further treatment.

CONCRETE, PRESSED STEEL TANKS AND SECONDARY CONTAINMENT

HDPE Geomembrane liners provide an efficient and cost-effective method of waterproofing earthen, sand, clay, concrete and steel lined reservoirs and containment structures. Geomembrane liners are installed inside concrete and pressed steel water tanks to preserve and protect tank walls against corrosion, deterioration and leakages from cracks.

In the Oil and Gas Industry, Geopoly HDPE geomembrane lining systems are installed in depot storage tanks as a secondary containment in line with a tank protection and leak detection system.

HDPE geomembrane liners are hardy and durable; resistant to most hazardous liquids; certified for potable water containment; UV resistant for exposed applications and cost effective. For potable water storage applications, these geomembrane liners help to prevent tank wall, ground water or bund seepage contamination.

WASTEWATER AND CHEMICAL TREATMENT

Industrial and Municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities utilizes HDPE geomembrane lining system to enhance efficiency, integrity and performance. Their many applications include water retention and chemical waste treatment ponds; oxidation ponds; sedimentation basins; floating covers for anaerobic digestion and odour control. Geopoly HDPE geomembrane lining systems add protection to concrete and other structures for the prevention of contamination to ground water due to seepages and leakages.
